| An ambassador's visit (Suburban Journals) Posted: 06 Mar 2010 12:05 AM PST An ambassador's visit Students at Soldan International Studies High School had a chance to practice their French on Feb. 24 when French Ambassador Pierre Vimont paid a visit. It was part of the Jules Verne French Immersion Program, which concentrates on both language and lessons on culture. During the visit, Vimont talked about France and the United Nations, modernization of French government institutions and the humanitarian help for Haiti. He then spent time meeting the students.
