ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--International Preschools announced today they are opening a new preschool campus to serve Atlanta's Buckhead community.

International Preschools (IPS) is pleased to announce the opening of its new Buckhead location. IPS will hold a public open house for its new campus at 4100 Roswell Road from 3 to 4 pm Friday, March 26, 2010. The new Buckhead preschool campus offers the same high quality academic program in both locations. School hours are 9 am -1 pm. Parents are invited to tour the new school facility and meet director, Suzanne Smith, and founder, Andrea Noktes. Ms. Noktes and Ms. Smith will answer questions for prospective parents.

In addition to unveiling its new space this fall, the Buckhead campus will provide extracurricular activities before and after school hours to accommodate the needs of working parents and children with a greater appetite for learning.

International Preschools follows its own unique approach to learning for young children. With a focus toward strengthening executive learning functions, and early childhood literacy, IPS addresses building and learning fundamentals in order to ready children for kindergarten in both academic and social ways. With its research-based curriculum, International Preschools prepares students for elementary school and sets the stage for life-long learning.

This preschool is the perfect solution for Atlanta's cosmopolitan parents who wish their children to participate in a culturally rich learning environment that respects, appreciates, and nurtures the multicultural and multilingual aspects of many Atlanta families. International Preschools offers a rich academic environment where preschoolers learn traditional school subjects like music, art, mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts in exciting new ways. Students also engage with peers while learning Spanish, German, and Japanese.

Andrea Noktes, Executive Director: "We are growing. By opening our new campus we are trying to accommodate our ever-expanding wait-list of parents who want to enroll their children this fall."

Andrea Noktes, an internationally experienced educator, is working on her doctorate in instructional leadership. She has trained teachers in curriculum research and design, and in developing effective instructional methodologies. She founded International Preschools in 2005 to address the needs of international families and to fill the gap between preschool education and the expectations of elementary schools. Suzanne Smith is a graduate of American University School of International Service with a degree in Intercultural Communications. She is working towards a Masters degree in Education. Suzanne brings a love of teaching and passion for intercultural learning to the IPS organization.
