Western Connecticut Academy for International Studies Magnet School is accepting applications for the 2011-12 school year. Redding residents with children who will be entering kindergarten through fifth grades are welcome to apply.

The application deadline is Jan. 21, no later than 4 p.m., with a lottery drawing taking place on Feb. 10. An application and information packets are available in the Redding Elementary School main office or on the Central Office Web site at er9.org.
