FRIDAY Laramie's first burlesque troupe debut performance begins at 8:30 p.m. at Hart's Alley. Tropes Burlesque's performance mixes satire, tease, comedy, dance, music and more. SATURDAY Laramie County Community College-Albany County campus will have a charitable car smash, "Swing for SAFE," at the Brake Stop, 2208 Grand, from 9 a.m.-noon. For $5, people can take a sledge to an automobile. All of the proceeds will go to benefit Albany County SAFE Project. Proceeds from every drink sold at Java Java from 9 a.m. to noon will also be donated to SAFE. SATURDAY "Gobble Wobble 5-K," a fundraiser for Laramie High School cross country and track and field teams begins at 9 a.m. at the LHS track. SATURDAY The Laramie Winter Farmer's Market is from noon-4 p.m. at the Laramie Plains Civic Center in the southwest gym. NOV. 30 The University of Wyoming Collegiate Chorale will perform for "Light of Wonder," an evening of choral music celebrating the season of peace, giving and community at St. Matthews Episcopal Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. Th event is free and open to the public. Donations for the UW department of music will be collected at the door. DEC. 1 The University of Wyoming Art Museum presents the Festival of Trees silent acution, reception and lighting from 6-8 p.m. at the UW Art Museum. The silent acution will continue Dec. 2 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. before concluding at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 3. DEC. 3 The University of Wyoming Art Museum presents the 18th annual "Happy Holidays, Laramie" celebration from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. The celebration will feature musical performances, an art exhibition by Albany County students, art-making activities, refreshments, balloon animals, a holiday children's store and a visit with Santa Claus.
